Regalia Connected Residence
Challenge
This unique, ultra-luxury condo is situated on one of the top floors at Regalia in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. AHT was challenged with designing technology throughout the 5,515 square feet of indoor space, and 2,100 square feet of lavish terrace space. The homeowner requested a whole-home technology solution to control the interior’s shading, lighting, climate, audio, and video.
Solution
Throughout the Regalia residence, motorized shades are installed to keep the interior space cool and to block out the sun while also creating privacy. In addition to the motorized shades, a whole-home Crestron lighting system was integrated with programmed scenes to create the perfect balance of light depending on the occasion and time of day. For audio and video, the latest in 4K ultra-thin displays are mounted in the living areas and in all of the bedrooms along with thin profile in-ceiling and in-wall speakers.
All technology is controlled by AHT-programmed Crestron touch panels and remote controls. The residence’s technology is also being monitored by AHT’s custom remote monitoring solution. With remote monitoring, AHT receives real-time notifications if any components come offline or need rebooting. In most cases, AHT can solve the problem before the client even knows there was one.
