New York City Midtown Penthouse
Challenge
The homeowner of this New York penthouse requested a fully automated home with the best audio and video to enjoy their music and film collection. In addition, they requested a whole-home lighting control system that featured an automated, multicolor selection of LED lighting in the living room. In the master bedroom, they requested a hidden video solution.
Solution
To meet the requests of the homeowner, AHT designed a custom user interface to control all the multicolor LED lighting in the living room. In addition, the home is outfitted with whole-home lighting control and motorized shading controls. For the condo’s whole-home audio and video, AHT installed Kaleidescape players to play the homeowner’s movie collection. In the master bedroom, a projector screen lift was installed along with a custom-mounted projector enclosure. There is also a custom-mounted display that fits flush into a mirror in the master bedroom. Meridian speakers were chosen throughout the home.
