Le Palais Royal

Challenge

Construction for this French-inspired masterpiece in Hillsboro Beach, Florida, spanned over 10 years and was designed by real estate designer and developer Joseph Leone. AHT was brought on the project in 2010 to design, engineer and install the Le Palais Royal’s technology.

One of the challenges AHT system designers and engineers faced was taking into consideration the length of time until project completion. The original scope of the system was designed with the idea that most of the technology would be replaced with current equipment and technologies.  Another challenge was being flexible with needed design changes that were requested throughout the project.

Solution

AHT designed and installed technology throughout the close to 60,000 square-foot estate. The living space has 11 bedrooms (the Presidential Suite comes with a private heated plunge pool on the balcony), 18 exquisitely detailed baths, an 18-seat IMAX home theater, a wine cellar with room for more than 3,000 bottles, and a  4,500-square-foot custom-built infinity pool that features a double-loop slide with LED lighting.

Motorized shades, lighting, audio/video, climate control and security are outfitted throughout the property. From the original system design in 2010 to the installation of equipment and programming, there were many design changes to the original scope of work. AHT worked with the developer/designer to match his vision for this one of a kind French inspired estate.
