At a special press briefing held during the 2017 CEDIA Expo, Sony Electronics and Kaleidescape, Inc., announced the availability of an exclusive 4K Movie Bundle promotion which has been specifically designed to deliver the ultimate 4K HDR experience to home theater enthusiasts.
The promotion features Sony 4K HDR projectors, which have been acknowledged as the leading projectors by CE Pro’s Top 100 Integrators, along with the award winning Kaleidescape Strato 4K Ultra HD movie player. Any consumer who purchases a qualifying* Sony 4K HDR projector between now and March 31, 2018 will receive a bundle of ten 4K HDR movies, valued at up to $350.00, at no additional charge, from the Kaleidescape Movie Store.This offer is also available to current owners of a qualifying Sony projector who then purchase a Kaleidescape Strato system between now and March 31, 2018. As a result, this promotional offer is expected to reach thousands of home theater enthusiasts.
The Sony/Kaleidescape 4K Movie Bundle features classic titles and new releases from a number of major studios, including Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, and Warner Home Video. The bundle includes such recent hits as Spider-ManTM: Homecoming from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
Trio of Sony 4K Projectors Unveiled
Sony added three new “true 4K” projectors to its lineup. The entry-level VPL-VW285ES projector features HDR, 10-bit depth and Sony’s Triluminous color processing.
A step above that, the new VPL-VW385ES adds features like picture position memories for storing format-specific settings, advanced iris control, built-in auto calibration and customized lens functions.
At the higher end, the new VPL-VW885ES bumps the technology up to three-chip laser light source; adds Sony’s Reality Creation and Motionflow processing for sharp, smooth images; and has two 18Gbps HDCP 2.2 HDMI ports for future-proof content delivery.
