Even if you are not familiar with Corning, chances are you have used their technology almost every day. They engineer high quality glass technology for displays, telecommunications, environmental, and specialty materials. The video above is what they are envisioning our world made with their glass technology to look like in the near future.

On first view, I couldn’t stop thinking about Philip K. Dick’s short story and later 2002 film Minority Report featuring Tom Cruise. Phillip is known as a science fiction writer and visionary. He passed on March 2, 1982, but his vision, stories, and films live on. It’s interesting to look back at old science fiction movies and see what was once thought to be unthinkable become today’s reality. Were these writers of science fiction really visionaries or have engineers and today’s businessmen and women simply made their imagination come to life?

Here at AHT Residential we are excited for what the future may hold. We are big fans of hidden technology that integrates seamlessly into a business or homes décor. We see this as a trend that will continue to grow as much as Corning and past science fiction writers have envisioned our future to look like.
