The AHT team was amongst the crowd of more then 200 real estate professionals, condo buyers and invited guests who gathered to witness history as the soon to be iconic tower 1000 Museum broke ground last Friday during Miami’s Art Basel week. Making a rare public appearance at the groundbreaking was Zaha Hadid, the world famous architect who designed the project.
“I love Miami,” Hadid announced to the crowd. “We are extremely excited not only because I will have something of mine in the city, but also because it is a very adventurous project.”
One of the developers of the 62-story tower, Gregg Covin, said he expects construction on the project to last 36 months.
“Hopefully by the end of 2017, we’ll finish it,” Covin said. “We are approaching 50 percent sold right now. People have really responded to Zaha’s brand and her design.”
AHT’s Role at 1000 Museum
AHT is excited to provide the residents of the iconic tower with luxury technology. The tower will be fitted with a Crestron control solution featuring lighting, video, sound and other electronics. AHT has already equipped the 1000 Museum Tower Sales Center with a Crestron powered control system that features a 9 screen video wall, 70-inch touch screen technology display, Crestron iPad control, invisible speakers and security cameras.
