When it comes to planning your dream home, it can be easy to overlook the technology until after everything else has already been put into place. Planning ahead can reap major benefits, not to mention save a lot of money in the long run.

There are 5 main stages through the course of a whole-home integration project. Careful consideration and attention to detail is given during each of these steps to ensure the best solution is tailored to your needs.

1. Consultation and Discovery Phase

Every project begins with a consultation. This allows our team to listen to the needs of the homeowner, designer, architect and any other craftsman that is on the project. After the meeting, all parties involved should have a solid understanding of the current technological trends, project budget considerations and any possible project challenged.

2. System Design Phase

Now that the core information has been gathered, a detailed report can be developed. AHT’s system design team will define all aspects of the project functionality for each room or area. An extensive set of project drawings are created that show graphically where all hardware and pre-wire drops will be located. We meet with the client to deliver this information for review, feedback and ultimate approval.

3. Engineering Phase

After a client has signed off on the system design and project price, our engineering team will plan and produce documents and drawings for the installation of the technical solutions to not only meet client needs, but ensure reliability and ease of use. A complete engineering documentation package will be presented to the client at the completion of the project.

4. Implementation Phase

After the project has been engineered to specifications, we are ready to install the infrastructure. AHT purchases all AV equipment and assemble as appropriate at one of our office locations or at the job site. Our job is only complete when the client is 100% satisfied with the finished product.

5. Long-Term Support Phase

A complete set of as-built documentation is delivered to every client at the final project sign-off. We ensure that the investment the client has made into their home is well protected and may be serviced for life with accuracy and diligence.
