Challenge

A family in Miami, Florida entrusted AHT Residential to bring their home theater vision to life. Their wishlist included: the largest canvas possible for widescreen and multi-screen viewing, ultra-HD resolution and pristine color images, a high-fidelity, immersive audio  system,  multiple tiers of seating with excellent viewing from any angle, easy to use touchscreens or handheld devices for control, and for all equipment to be elegantly concealed.

Solution

AHT Residential, Crestron, Barco  Residential and other partners delivered a sophisticated, multi-faceted home theater experience.  The worlds first residential Barco Prometheus Laser projector was installed which delivers superior brightness, black levels, color space and high resolution for a perfect picture. The theater screen stretches 15.5 feet wide with an aspect ratio of 2:40.

For control, a Crestron automation system designed by AHT was implemented to control the home theater’s thermostat, lighting and audio/video sources. John Arthur provided custom audio and room design specifically tailored to the room’s specifications.

The project was a team effort, and the result is a best in class home enetertainment experience, bar none.
