Five Most Innovative Custom Integration Technologies of 2011

The holiday season along with 2011 is rapidly coming to an end. In a few short days, 2012 will be upon us, and before you know it a brand new year will start to unfold. Before we enter into 2012 though, here is our countdown of the 5 most innovative custom integration technologies of 2011.

Number 5:

 

Launch Port, Magnetic iPad Port

LaunchPort came out with a magnetic ipad docking station earlier in 2011. This magnetic docking station makes it ideal for an on wall or tabletop solutions.

 

 

 

Number 4:


Apple, Siri

Siri, the voice command application built into the new iphone 4s, has the potential to develop into a complete voice service that activates a large part of out daily lives. It’s not there yet, but close. You can read more on Siri and automation by clicking here. 

 

 

 

Number 3:

Planar, Architectural Displays

Number 2:

Research Frontiers, SPD Smart Technology

Research Frontiers are at the forefront of glass tinting technology. Their self tining glass technology will be featured in this years addition of the Mercedes SLK. This technology is also being fitted into jets, yachts, businesses, and homes.  Self and adjustable glass tinting will become more and more mainstream in the coming future.

 

 

 

 

Number 1:

C’Seed 201

Engineered by Porche Design Studio, the C’seed is a marvel of craftsmanship and engineering. It features a 201 inch outdoor display that sits in capsule 15 feet under ground. Once activated, it emerges up and begins to unfold 7 LED displays to form one singular screen. This was an easy choice for the number 1 most innovated product of 2011.
